Elisa Nitzbon is a dietician here at Cara Care. As part of the Cara Care Expert team, she works 1 on 1 with app users to help them achieve their health goals and answer their questions along the way. We asked her a few questions about her work here.
What’s your story? How did you end up at Cara Care?
Before I joined Cara Care, I worked as a dietician in many different places and institutions. But I was exploring new and innovative ideas in the field of nutritional counseling.
Cara Care's digital nutritional advice convinced me to join the team. This allows patients to be accompanied more flexibly, closely, and personally. I have now been enthusiastically involved with Cara Care for two years, and can look back on a large number of patients who have improved their quality of life through my advice.
What have you learned about digestive health since working here?
My goal after my training was to become an expert in a specific field of nutrition therapy.
Cara Care showed me that digestive health should not only be considered pathophysiologically, but that a holistic view of the human being is of great importance.
Through this experience and my many patients, I have come to know digestive health in all its complexity, and can now call myself an expert in digestive health.
What do you like about your work at Cara Care?
What I like most about Cara Care is that the concept is modern and focuses on the patient experience. A few years ago, the digital nutritional advice concept was still unimaginable for me. But Cara Care has shown me that new challenges are not only good for patients, but have also expanded my skills and possibilities as a dietician.
Behind Cara Care there is also a young and great team, which always offers a great workplace through fun at work and a family atmosphere.
